The YouTube channel hit a major milestone last week. Well, major for me, anyway. One hundred subscribers! A nice, round number that sort of signifies something. Given that it’s taken me almost five years to get there, I’m not sure what, exactly it signifies, but it definitely means something. Mostly, it makes me happy that there are at least a few people enjoying my old game playthroughs, and the various random other things that I post on the channel.
Then, the new office! Actually, walking through this was pretty cool, because it gave me a chance to talk about a few of my “work decoration” items that have finally found their way home. Maybe it’s because I’m a creature of habit, but seeing my Dodgers pennant, my aircraft engine piston, Companion Cube, and Vince the Voodoo Doll when I sit down at my desk every morning truly helps give me a mindset of “Yes, I am now at work, it is time to do work things.”
