Weekend Humor – If George Lucas Directed Lord of the Rings

  • by

With the final (for now) Star Wars movie releasing this weekend, it’s time for a bit more Star Wars-themed humor. This week, what if George Lucas had helmed the Lord of the Rings movies instead of Peter Jackson?

The Top Seven Differences If George Lucas Directed Lord of the Rings

7. Gollum is every bit as slimy and obnoxious, but says “Meesa” a lot more.
6. Sauron is more menacing with raspy breathing.
5. Gandalf would have emerged from his battle with the Balrog frozen in carbonite.
4. Heroic Legolas fearlessly climbs onto an “Imperial Walker” elephant in the heat of a raging battle, and single-handedly … uh, never mind.
3. Moria isn’t nearly as scary when Orcs are replaced by Ewoks.
2. Frodo’s quest would have been aided by the ever-faithful R2-D2.

And the Number One Difference if George Lucas Directed “Lord of the Rings”…

  1. Same hype, more letdown.
