I don’t understand YouTube’s algorithm, not one little bit. But when it suggests an old Saab marketing video for the J35 Draken (in-arguably one of the coolest looking Cold-War era fighters), well, that’s something I’ve got to see.
Fortunately, the Swedish Heritage Flight keeps a couple of Drakens, along with nearly every other historical aircraft the Swedes have ever flown, in flying condition, and showing at a few European airshows.
Sadly, Draken International doesn’t actually operate the aircraft in an aggressor role anymore.
