A few Eastern European and Baltic influenced videos for today’s Thursday Thunder. First up, highlights from the 2019 AeroBaltic airshow, which took place in Gdynia, Poland. Watch for appearances by the extremely rare Swedish J-34 Hunter, the Saab SK-37 Viggen, a Polish Su-22 Fitter, and a highly unusual formation with an Antonov An-2.
Next, from Oskhoshes past, the one-of-a-kind Yak-110. We’ve featured this singular twin before, but never with this view. That wing mounted camera is something else.
Finally, from Russia itself, the Russian Knights, a team more or less analogous to the Thunderbirds, but flying the Su-30SM (itself more or less an F-15 equivelant). There’s also some great formation work with their brother flight team, the Swifts and their MiG-29s.
