With most of the airshow season wiped out this year, a few performers got together for a “Practice Day” in Georgia during the summer months, and invited a handful of aviation photographers and videographers along to document the whole thing. Videos are finally starting to trickle out now, and they’re all the things I missed about not being able to go to an airshow this year.
It’s kind of interesting without the usual airshow crowds and announcers. The video guys were able to be a lot closer to the action, and you don’t have a lot of intrusive noise beyond what’s coming from the airplane.
The pilots had so much fun with the first event, that they decided to do it again a couple months later.
Hold on a sec though, I can’t end with this. Not when 1-300 put out a new Phantom video!
On that note, until tomorrow!
