Based on the bar chatter, it seems like Maniac isn’t the only one starting to doubt the success of the mission. Or at the very least, starting to question whether or not this will be a one-way trip. Then again, history is replete with examples of military operations which weren’t “technically” suicide missions, they “just” offered a very low probability for successful return. The Tiger’s Claw may very well be on one of those missions right now.
This is the system where if you didn’t import your pilot file from the main game, you’ll be flying with Spirit. Obviously that’s not an option for me, so it’s time to take on a good chunk of the Kilrathi fleet solo. Oh, joy. With odds stacked this much against us, we’re pretty much fully defensive at the start of every engagement, just trying to keep maneuvering, get hits when possible, and start whittling away at the enemy numbers.
Add to everything the Drayman at Nav 3. The good news is that once that ship jumps in, some of the Krants will probably break off and go after it. The bad part is that some of the Krants will probably break off and go after the Drayman, and it’s fragile. Basically, save as many missiles as possible for Nav 3 to take out those Krants once the Drayman arrives.
