Just three missions left in this expansion pack. The game designers, or rather, the Kilrathi are throwing everything they’ve got at the Claw. Needless to say, the cats are rather upset about having their religious victory ceremony disrupted.
Bar chatter is starting to generally wrap things up. Iceman gets some closure and a bit of a happy ending to his story. Hunter is on restricted duty again, after playing another prank on Maniac. Speaking of Maniac, he’s back on flight duty again. It seems that Colonel Halycon needs every pilot he can get right now, even if at least one of those pilots is a serious headcase.
The mission itself is one of the longest in all the Wing Commander games. There are a lot of fighters, scattered through a bunch of small- to medium-sized engagements. Not a lot of strategy involved, just fly fast, shoot everything, and save missiles for evening the odds against the heavy fighters.
