PAX South Prep

  • by

It’s almost that time of year again. The badges are sitting in their envelope on my desk already. I spent the past couple of free evenings prepping PCs for both (Not-So) Mini-Me and Adventure Girl (not going to have a last minute surprise PC failure this year!). Plus, our challenge coins came in the mail.

It’s almost PAX South time once again. This year will be the first visit for Adventure Girl, and I’ll feel a lot more comfortable about her and Mini-Me being each other’s wingmen at the convention. Plus, if the weather forecast holds, then we’re getting out of South Dakota at just the right time next week before a cold front brings in more snow. I’m ready to do a couple of morning runs outside on the Riverwalk rather than being stuck inside on the treadmill.

It’s going to be a good time. I still need to line up my appointments for Marooners’ Rock media stuff, but Camp Honey Badger will be in full effect in the BYOC area come Friday morning. This year we’re even building in an extra day to go do some tourist-type things around San Antonio. Time for the kids to go visit The Alamo.
