If you’ve ended up in Hell’s Kitchen, then the game is over. There’s no way to achieve victory over the Kilrathi at this point, the best you’re going to manage is to not die. Hopefully you can get some of humanity out with you.
The first mission opens with a desperate escort mission. A transport ship full of refugees is inbound with enemy fighters hot on her tail. You and Hunter are going to have to launch ASAP!
Opposition on this mission is pretty aggressive. The four Salthi that you encounter first aren’t too bad, but the five Krant (including one enemy ace if you didn’t kill him earlier) will chew the Drayman to bits in short order. It’s possible to save the Drayman here, but…
It doesn’t matter. I don’t know whether it’s a scripting bug or actually planned, but somewhere between the Krants and the Gratha, the Drayman will just self-destruct. You still have to fight four Gratha on the way home though.
Then Colonel Halcyon yells at you, but not too much.
In the recording, I lost Hunter, which is probably going to make the remaining three missions that much more difficult. Darkest timeline is darkest timeline.
