Gave blood yesterday. I used to be a pretty regular donor, but when I started running marathons I found that being a pint low tended to interfere with training for a week or so. But with Civil Air Patrol nationally running their Operation Pulse Lift drive, and my determination not to ask my cadets to do something I’m not willing to do myself, I figured it was time.
I should have written my blog before doing this, because I really didn’t expect to get knocked on my butt quite as hard as I have this evening.
