iOS Project – Sprint 1: Planning

  • by

One Big Thing: Be ready to start writing code in Sprint 2

  • Set up Dev blog section of website – COMPLETE
  • Have initial stories put into Trello (Stories – Features – Tasks) – COMPLETE
  • Define MVP – COMPLETE
  • Prepare initial development environment – COMPLETE
  • Definition of Done – PUSHED
A few of the stories on my Trello board for this project. Nothing is storypointed yet, because I don’t have a feel for how big most of these things actually are, or how much time I can realistically expect to spend on development in the future. When I get into pulling stories for a sprint, I’ll flesh out each one with features (as cards), and build tasks (as checklists) inside each card.

Retrospective:

  • What went right?
    • Successfully got all the stories in, dev environment prepped, ready for the next sprint.
  • What went wrong?
    • Can’t deploy to iOS without a Mac to sign the binaries. Will be an issue that needs solving later.
