Hey, I wrote some things somewhere else! I haven’t left the game review business entirely, although I continue to try and gradually reposition myself as “The Sim Guy” for our little website. This gave me the chance to work through two interesting games last month.
WRC 8 is a rally racing sim that may be the most intense racing game I’ve ever played. There’s just something about blasting down a narrow mountain road with a wall of unyielding rock on one side and a long drop on the other that got my blood pumping.
Bus Simulator is the polar opposite of WRC 8. A surprisingly chill driving sim that puts you in the roll of driver/manager for a fictional European sea-side area.
